Fans have worked harder throughout the years to keep her legacy alive. Selena is the Tejano singer who tragically shot to death in a shooting accident, sparked an Latino reaction that could be compared with the response to the deaths of Elvis Presley and John Lennon's death. Selena was a hugely well-known Latino performer across North America. Her music transcended the boundaries of culture and brought joy to both young people and older adults. Selena has been called by many as the Latina Madonna, but she's still a fantastic example to follow.
