Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 in Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from bloggers as well as the press. She has previously recorded two highly-profile cover songs Half the World Away by the band Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's support for her song Runaway in a blog post added to the musician's appreciation. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is of finding a piano in her attic and being awed by the sounds it would make. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music as a passion rather than a profession. Her parents encouraged her to compose. Her influences include renowned writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her affinity with Bjork's style. After her mom informed her that her music can not only aid in her efforts to get noticed, but also make others see their value in the world and realize what can be done with the songs, she decided to begin singing in public. She started playing piano when she was only six and started writing songs by the time she was nine. The family did not have any idea about it until she turned 14. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. Her only passion is to write music. To her, music is the best means of communicating anything.
